VISION (vizh'-un) – Definition: The faculty of seeing; sight. Something imagined to be seen, though not real; In Scripture, a revelation from God;

Vision is the capacity to see further than the eyes can look. Vision is the key to one's life having meaning. Vision itself has the nature of destroying barriers. Vision allows one to see beyond the barriers.

The greatest gift God gave man is not the gift of sight but the gift of vision. Why? Because sight is a function of the eyes. Vision is a gift of the heart. Sight shows us what is. Vision shows us what can be by use of our imagination. This is why we must walk by faith and not by sight. Sight captures the present. Vision captures the future. Vision is the source of hope.

We are all born to fulfill an assignment – to contribute to the world until we die. We were all born to make a difference in our generation.

Dr. Myles Munroe

Myles Munroe was a Bahamian evangelist and ordained minister avid professor of the Kingdom of God, author, speaker and leadership consultant who founded and led the Bahamas Faith Ministries International (BFMI) and Myles Munroe International (MMI). He was chief executive officer and chairman of the board of the International Third World Leaders Association and president of the International Leadership Training Institute as well as the author of numerous books.

Dr. Munroe was major inspiration for Redemption 2019 - The Plan for Black America. Demetrius Bledsoe has been listening to the messages of Dr. Munroe regarding the Kingdom of God, Vision and Purpose for nearly 30 years. Bledsoe also heard him live and in person when Dr. Munroe delivered a sermon at a church in Florida. Bledsoe also attended a Homegoing service for Dr. Munroe and his wife after their untimely death from an airplane accident that took the lives of seven others in 2014. The plane was returning to the Grand Bahamas for the annual Global Leadership Forum conference where the former Atlanta, Ga. mayor and ambassador Andrew Young was the keynote speaker.

"I wrote Dr. Munroe directly when I first had the vision for Redemption 2019. I asked for his blessings and he wrote me back to wish me well and did indeed give me his blessings. I will be forever grateful for the knowledge, wisdom and understanding that Dr. Myles shared with the world. He also could not have been the man that he became without his wife Ruth by his side who would often share a powerful message of her own at events. They will be forever missed but live through their work and guidance."
